At its meeting today, the �鶹��ý University (CSU) Board of Trustees endorsed the University’s new strategic plan, which will guide CSU’s efforts from 2025 until 2030.

�鶹��ý leadership has spent the past six months working closely with students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners to refine the priorities that will shape the University’s future and the future of Northeast Ohio. The result is �鶹��ý United—a strategic plan that builds on CSU’s strengths and aims to position the University as a place where everyone can thrive.

• Mission statement – “Cleveland’s university. Infinite opportunity.” We are in and of the city of Cleveland. We leverage our unique location and strategic partnerships to equip learners with knowledge and future-ready skills. Through innovative research, dedicated service and exceptional talent, we address the evolving needs of our community.
   
• Vision 2030 – “Where everyone thrives.” CSU aspires to be a national leader in social and economic mobility. We will be a great place to learn and work.
   
• Values – “CSU”: Collaborating with community. Serving students. Unleashing creativity.

“The Board of Trustees wholeheartedly supports this plan, especially for its focus on student success and meeting the needs of our region,” said CSU Board of Trustees Chair David Reynolds. “�鶹��ý United positions CSU to drive meaningful change and create lasting opportunities for everyone to thrive—no matter where they are in their academic journey.”

The vision also exemplifies CSU's commitment to innovation, which includes the launch of 11 new integrated degree programs. The University will track �鶹��ý United’s progress using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to the community on its achievements. In the meantime, a �鶹��ý United launch event will be held at CSU’s downtown campus in late January.
